Reporter for URI Athletics
During my senior year, I served as a digital reporter for Rhode Island's athletic department. Having access to 16 NCAA Division I teams means greater opportunities for reporting and telling stories.

Similar to being a Sports MMJ, my role focused on creating pregame/postgame videos during football and basketball season. I also had the opportunity to sit down and create feature stories on some of Rhode Island's extraordinary student-athletes. My videos were shared on Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube in correspondence with URI Athletics and GoRhody.com.

Like the rest of the sports world, COVID-19 impacted my role and schedule as a sports reporter. I was supposed to be heading to the Atlantic 10 Tournament in Brooklyn, New York to cover URI men's basketball. I was supposed to return from spring break and shift my focus to baseball and softball season. I was planning on telling more feature stories, getting more experience on the anchor desk and perfecting my reel before graduation. The coronavirus pandemic put my plans on pause, but I'm continuing to work hard from home and tell the stories of Rhode Island athletics.

Videos are written, shot and edited by me. Below are samples of my coverage for Rhody men's and women's basketball. If you'd like to see more, please go to my personal Youtube page!
